Barry Maurer – Director
Barry began his recruitment career in Sydney over 20 years ago as the manager of the banking and finance division of an international recruitment firm. He then went on to establish his own successful recruitment firm, Maurer Consulting, which consistently focused on the fields of compliance, risk and audit. During this time Barry built an extensive network of relationships across the financial services sector. In 2004 he joined forces with Greg Goodman and established Compliance and Risk Management Recruitment to focus exclusively on the compliance, risk management and audit.

Greg Goodman – Director
Greg is a senior compliance and risk management professional with over 35 years of experience in the finance sector. Before joining Barry in CRM’s recruitment business Greg was the Regional Compliance Officer for nine years and held various senior management positions for over twenty years with the Bankers Trust Australia Group. He was also a Director with Arthur Andersen responsible for their compliance consulting practice. Greg established his own consulting firm, Compliance Australia Pty Ltd in 1998. Greg continues to sit on a number of boards and compliance, audit and risk committees.

David Bakes – Senior Consultant
David has over 5 years’ experience in the recruitment industry. Prior to joining CRM David worked with a specialist recruitment agency focused on accounting and middle office roles. David holds a Business Degree. Since joining CRM in early 2010 David has worked closely with our Directors to assist clients and candidates with their recruitment requirements. He has rapidly built a loyal candidate database and enjoys strong relationships with a number of our clients.

Tonya Goode – Researcher
Tonya has a Graduate Diploma in Education. After studying and holding varying roles, Tonya has found her calling in her current role leading our research function. Tonya is the contact person for all updates from CRM’s extensive network of risk management, compliance and audit professionals. She enjoys researching and working with new mediums in online technologies including Twitter and Linked-In, as well as the personal interaction in maintaining contact with our candidates.

Angie Ilagan – Office Manager
Angie runs our Sydney office, having joined Barry Maurer many years ago. Her administrative skills knows no bounds and covers all aspects of our business, including managing our candidate database, managing appointments and contractual arrangements with clients and candidates and financial administration. Angie is the glue that keeps our team focused and together.
