Our client is looking for a Risk and Compliance manager to be part of a distinct business unit that has access to the resources of a larger group. Due to the scale of this opportunity you will be able to see the whole picture. Reporting to a highly experienced and capable Head of Risk you will be invited to make a strategic contribution.

Joining this team you will be part of the development and implementation of the risk and compliance function. You will be hands on building frameworks and have access to tools and techniques from within the group. You will have the sense of working in a small to medium size business but have access to the resources of a large company. This role is a balance of risk and compliance.

As a successful applicant you will have 3-5 years experience in risk and compliance. You will enjoy working in a busy environment with a varied work load. You will be capable of thinking strategically and planning the development of the risk and compliance function. Capable of working autonomously but also enjoying a team environment this is a ‘hands on’ role. You will have a risk and compliance background coming from retail banking or broader financial services. You will demonstrate a sound technical knowledge of risk and compliance with the ability to influence and effect change.

This role will provide pace and variety with a balance of risk and compliance.
