Our client is a leading diverse financial service organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a key part of the business in a pivotal operational risk role. As Senior Operational Risk Manager you will be expected to contribute to development of frameworks, policy and strategy.

This ‘hands on’ role will see you involved, at a practical level in rolling out appropriate policies, processes and frameworks to support the growth within the business. As a key member of the team you will assist in developing an operational risk program and be proactive in developing a culture in line with regulatory and legal requirements. Your thorough understanding of controls and processes will enable you to identify areas of key risks and take the necessary steps to mitigate.

The successful candidate will be experienced in operational risk with a good understanding of financial services, with a preference for exposure to retail banking. . A high achiever with a strong track record of achievements to date, you should be capable of building relationships with both business managers and other risk and compliance professionals within the business. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to engage key stakeholders.
